Sounds like you got some tips on removal. A sleeve puller would be your best bet if you are going to reinstall them but that probably isn't the case. Here is a little tip on installing sleeves. Put them in a freezer and leave them in there untill they are mighty cold. This will cuase a little contraction allowing them to go in block a little easier.
