David - thanks again for the help. I went out this morning and sraped off some old paint and probably some 60 year old grime and found another didget on the serial number - its 18287, not the 8287 I orignally thought when I first found it. Thus it was made in 1937. I've owned the tractor for about 10 years and now I finally know exactly what I have. I rescued it from the junk man and to most people the tractor was junk. I've got it partially fixed up. It runs real well and I can drive it around but it needs a ton more work. Thanks again for the help.
