Dave, I used the two bolt holes in the back of the
block that held the gas tank. I mounted a piece
of channel iron about 2 ft lg. I used chains from
the ends of it and used the engine hoist on the
front end. I fabricated a (u shaped) metal holder
to go under the clutch housing (it ended up about
1 ft. from floor). I then was able to use a floor
jack to hold up the rear end. Hope this helps. John
