I have a front end loader on a '53 SM that I am restoring, and I have to replace the upper seal on the bolster which is drooling down the shaft. I don't have any wobble, but judging by how hard it steers, I'm anticipating that I'll find more than a weeping seal when I open it up. You're pic's were very timely. If the sector is badly worn, are there quality (new) replacements available? Thanks again - I read your posts even if it isn't a subject I'm immediately concerned with. You are one of the contributors that make this site an absolute gold mine for somebody who didn't grow up any closer to a tractor than making a few bucks as a thirteen year old tossing bales onto the wagon for the old dairy farmer next door.
