I put a muffler eliminator on a 5088 for a friend and I had to use an air chisel to remove the old muffler. I also think you should return the muffler for an eliminator kit, it will cheaper than a muffler and the tractor will run better. With the windows closed you will never notice a noise difference in the cab but your neighbors will know where you are running.
