Norman, Good possibility that the oilpan flange is warped or otherwise out-of-shape or you may have overtightened the pan bolts. It doesn't take much to create a leaker. Recommend you remove the pan, get a new gasket and check the flange for trueness. I use a large piece of plate glass to check pans. take a $ bill and move it around between the flange and the glass. If it binds the pan is "high" at that point, if it slides out with no resistance you have a "low" spot. I use the red silicone gasket sealer and only tighten the bolts up to around 10 ft. lbs./FB
