The hardest part is removing and installing the pulley. It is pressed on the crankshaft. You need a good puller AND a bearing splitter. Dont try just hooking a gear puller on to the pulley because you WILL break it. To reinstall it you can use a harmonic balancer installer for a car engine if you can find one with threads the same as in the end of the crankshaft. You could beat it on with a dead blow hammer but you risk damaging the thrust bearing and breaking the pulley. Trust me, I got my pulley off Ok but I broke it putting it back on. You could also try heating the pulley in an oven and packing dry ice around the crankshaft. This will expand the pulley and shrink the crankshaft. You have to work fast because once you start the heat from the pulley will transfer to the crankshaft real fast.
