I would say that it should be a darker gray and not green. Alot of people call it battleship gray. I am not sure of the actuall color code. I am sure there is some varience in the color people paint these old gray tractors. With the fadeing from the sun and so on, I am sure that if it is a little off it will be passable as original color. Even your red paints will do a little fadeing and have a little bit of an orangey shade to them. I have seen darker and lighter reds and no one seems to put any question on their looks. If you think it has to be perfect to show your wrong. Alot of people show tractors that have paint hardener added to the finish and that certainly isn't original.
