I have bought two H's and two M's for less than $350 per tractor, one out the four ran. I have a friend that can buy a load for an H for about $800 . Now thats about $1150 bucks, I'd offer $650 and see what happens. Think about it this way, pistons, sleeves, bearings $375.00, low end. Gasket set $75.00, time about 40/50 hours overall invested at the bottom end. Now if you have to get the crankshaft turned, replace lifters, push rods add another $500 to your list plus more time. I don't want to scare you but stuck tractors are not what they are cracked up to be. The last one I did cost me well over $3000 by the time I was done, I thought it was all there, I guesses wrong. Red will tell you the same thing, the last one he did cost about the same as mine and his was running. If you like pulling them back from the dead ( which I do ) then the stuck ones are were to go, they are cheap because no one want to work on them. One last comment, the loader may also need to be rebuilt, new hose's, cylinders or seals, it could be a angel to fix but then again it may be the devil to pay...
