The water gauge stays in the run/green mode, never gets hot. I have the oil gauge that has the red on the left side of the gauge. The gauge starts out in the middle but moves to the red after long runs. I shut it off let it cool down and run again for another hour, maybe. I guess I should hook up a gauge where I can read the oil pressure, this gauge looks like the original, it has the IH logo in it. I just don't like running it when it even gets close, maybe it could be the gauge?
