I have used 90 foot-pounds torque on head bolts; 80-85 foot pounds on the rod bolts and 0.008 inch clearance on the rods on my F-20 without any problems. Be sure to clean the threads by running the nut on and off a couple of times before torgueing them.
PS I have some extra rod bols it you twist one off.
