There is a plug on the left side, under the brake rod that is the transmission fluid level. It is only 3 inches or so above the bottom of the transmission, the gears carry the lubricant up to the rest of the transmission, and there is an oiler gear that carries oil to a channel running back to the PTO. I think it takes about 6 quarts.
