Take the rod off and use it like a pry bar up against the drawbar. You can also stick it through one of the holes in the drawbar and pry. The tractor makes a good immovable object to pry against. The bar should have two bends in it, one near the front and one near the rear. You will see them. This job took me about 15 min. Now it is perfect. David<< HTH, Tyman
