I will try to make this short. Was plowing up some food plots and backed over one of the furros. All of a sudden the steering wheel just kept turning around but the wheels went no where. I thought I had sheered a pin. Upon further inspection after taking off the cover where the worm gear meets the other gear that gos down to the shaft that turns the wheels. I found that the half moon gear that rides on the worm gear had turned to far and came off of the worm gear. I have a after market wide front end and the stops had come loose. I think this is what let the gear go past where it should of been. My problem now is that the worm gear will let the tractor turn left just fine but if i turn right it will come off of the gear again. Can i take the gear off of the shaft and recenter it on the worm gear. Also what holds the gear on to the shaft that gos down to the wheels. Thanks for any help chuck
