IHC 300 Utility Hydraulics Questions

I just purchased an IHC 300 Utility tractor with a loader. The tractor has a PTO driven pump and extra fluid tank hooked into the existing hydraulic system to run the loader. The tractor has power steering, 3 point, and an additional hydraulic hookup. Does anyone know if the hydraulic system of the tractor itself can run the loader or is it absolutely necessary to have the PTO pump as well? I woud like to eliminate the extra plumbing and hassle of the PTO pump. Thanks.
