Can ya'll tell me where the plug or how do you tell the "proper" way to tell the transmission level is full on the '49 Farmall "A"? I had to replace the left rear seal 2 years ago and couldn't find a plug to go by so I figured I would cover the gears by sight & that would work. Now, either the front transmssion seal is leaking, or I'm putting to much fluid in. I would like to think it is the 'easy' choice, but I can't find the plug to go by. The only screw I can find is for the lever for the 'pto' and that ain't no help. Thanks for your input.
