That kinda takes me back. Dad had a M that had a loader mounted. The loader ran off a PTO pump. It had to be parked with the loader up, because it didn't have a starter. Heaven help you if you killed the engine with the loader down. I could never get the danged thing to start, nor could my brothers, but dad never seemed to have a problem, even when it was cold out (northern NoDak) dad could start it and clear the driveway with it. Dad's M was the same color as Old Smokey.

It had a muffler, though. When dad was in the Air Force, he got to sit INSIDE the plane so his hearing wasn't totally shot.
