If you have the pump made for the super M, it goes between the distributor and the timing gear (it should replace the spacer between the distributor and the timing gear - I think ;o) ). You will probably need the vertical delco distributor as well as there isn't room for the horizonal and the oil filter. This replacement isn't hard but be sure the gear teeth are meshed completely and that you have oil in the inlet before starting the engine --> You don't want to break any gears (lots of work to replace) and you shouldn't run the pump dry.
