Mine goes back in history to when people were named to suit thier occupation, physical features, or place of residence, "grove" is a place of residence, in Norwegian this becomes my last name, the "r" is my first initial for Ron. Also, on the "Crawler and Dozer" forum, I like to use the handle, "Growzerbar", spelling is a tad off, but that makes it unique. What is "grouserbar"? It is a type of bar stock used for the build up of worn grousers on track equipment, that is the right angle piece on the pad that digs into the ground to give the machine its traction, like the lug on a rear tractor tire. Why did I choose this name? have no idea, just one of those dumb catskinner ideas, I guess. Never realy thought anyone would be interested in all this, but now that you mention it..... Have a gooder, R.E.L.
