Well, Steve ole boy, I just now typed out a long list of books and sent it to your e-mail address, but the "demon" returned it, saying you didn't exist, so here I'll give you my favorite books on the subject. They are all in large format paperbound: The Agricultural Tractor 1855-1950 (R.B. Gray) Farm Tractors 1950-1975 (Lester Larsen) Farm Tractors 1975-1995 (Larry Gay) These are all available from the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE), 2950 Niles Road, St. Joseph, Michigan. There is another book (hardcover, expensive) which I do not have, but I perused it down at the Library of Congress, written by Charles Wendel, titled (I believe) Nebraska Tractor Tests 1920-1985. It was a Crestline hardcover book and I believe it is still available from Motorbooks International. I think it was $49.95 or $59.95 last time I saw it in their catalog.
