I was born and raised in the country, but like a lot of people around here I ended up working in the big city. My nickname was provided to me by my co-workers in the city. When I started working there I was known as "Little Man" (height 6',weight 325). About a month into my new job my boss was mad over something and called me a "Son of a B*%&?". Well I did not take to this too well so I picked him up and placed him against a wall and advised him that if he ever talked about my momma again that I would get very upset. All he could say was; "I'm sorry Little Bubba, please put me down, please put me down will ya Little Bubba". I put him down and went back to work. That afternoon all of my co-workers started telling the boss that he had better watch his mouth or "Little Bubba" would be back. That was 25 years ago, I have been called "Little Bubba" since. I never had any problems with my boss, or co-workers after that day. We all still work together and respect each other very much. Ahaa, memories of the good old days.
