Hello Lads.a few weeks ago l wrote to you for advice on a siezed W6 l was interested in.l went ahead and brought it home.We arnt able to get B.p.blaster here in Ontario yet so l used the old faithfull WD40,and filled everything to the brim with diesel fuel, then walked away from it for a couple weeks.l pulled it up into the shop and jacked the rear tires up put it in gear and gently rocked the wheels back and forth. There was a nudge of movement on the crank, with alittle more effort it freed up.The intake was ruined,so l got another one,put new oil in it put the rad back in carb on ect,put some fuel in the tank and rolled it over.Within about two minutes it was running on its own and steadied out.Oil presure was good and temp. This tractor sat for ten years without a muffler out in the mans yard(had'nt run for those years). He didnt want anything for it but l went back and paid him some money for it anyway. Thanks for the advice, this old girl will be working again at my sawmill operation doing odd jobs. Steve.
