International carburetor

Greetings all, I am in the process of helping a family member fix up my grandfather's old backhoe.
The tractor is a 1956 International harvester model 300. the Serial number is 32991. It has a four cylinder engine and the carb is on the left side. I have already removed the carb and my cousin brought it somewhere(he wants to try and soak it etc). I am trying to buy a rebuild kit/carb off the web but I don't know any of the carb numbers. Does anyone know what carburetor was used on this tractor? I remember it was a one barrel carb, one linkage going to the choke and a solid tube coming off the front (governer maybe?) thanks in advance for any help given.
