Can't help with a URL or book, but other than the impulse mechanical part the rest is just the coil, points, and condenser in one package.
I rebuilt one a couple yrs ago fer the start engine on a 1952 D4 Cat, it had weak spark, but after I filed the points and reset them and replaced the condenser with one I had fer my old 72 Chey, we had all kinds of spark. Good Luck!!
