Has your 300 U been turned up? I have a 350 Hi-Utility and it is rated at 1750 and won't turn any faster. I can't get mine to burn 3 gals an hour even plowing or disking. I pull 3-14's and a 10 ft wheel disk but it won't burn more than about 2 and a half gals per hour.
