I may have given way too much for mine at 475, but I now have way too much in it so it has to earn its keep. It was locked up when I got it, missing side panels, bashed hood , bent and tore fenders but the sheetmetal and cast iron parts were not pitted at all. I bought 2 parts 10-20s for 350 and 425 at an auction. I guess a good rule of thumb is are you going to keep it forever, in that case spend what you want in fixing it up, or are you planning on fixing it up and reselling it for a profit, in that case don't spend a ton on it. I have heard of a few 10-20s selling for 4000 when done right so I don't feel so bad about spending what I have so far on mine. I have been using mine for sledding logs and those steel wheels shure are the trick for great traction, you just have to watch out for the stumps and rocks.Call me crazy but I almost don't see the big gain for going to rubber outside of a smoother ride on hard ground and being able to go down paved roads. Steel wheels don't dry rot and don't go flat and don't cost $250 plus $30 for tubes each wheel.I would say if you can get it for 800 or less and you think you can get it going for less than 200( not painted up , just running) go for it! You might end up liking it as much as I like mine!

Obviously that draft will increase if the implement runs deeper than eight inches, and decrease if it runs shallower. Why not use that draft fact to control the depth of work automatically? The draft forces are
