there is also very good step by step instructions on the conversion using an alternator written by Bob M in the archives with a good wiring diagram. will be the same with an H except trying to get the alternator under the hood. that has also been discussed in the forum and you should be able to search for it. using the generator might be the easiest route to take as it all fits already and you probably don't need 35 or 65 amps to run your equipment on an H unless it has cab, air, and tape deck
