I have to disagree with Red on this one. As someone who got lucky living through a high pressure 120psi tire explosion with only minimal physical damage (hearing)I can assure you that low pressure 15psi wont likely do any physical damage. The weather checking may though pick up debris and puncture the tube causing failure. The only thing I would hesitate doing is highway speeds like the others said, and any side inclines since if it did go down suddenly there would be increased chance of rollover. If you have the available funds, by all means replace it as soon as possible. If money is tight it may last you several more years.
