The tractor I bale with has one tire cracked so bad you can see most of the cord. There are two inch diameter chunks missing. It picks up hay between most the lugs and carries it around like you just came out of mud. Been this way for over two years, baled 11,000 square bales with it last year and 10,000 this year, farthest field about 14 miles away. Drive it in road gear wide open. 10,000 bales is about 300 miles in the field. Probably have another 100 miles road time. Of course I've got several tractors with 38" rims so I keep a good spare at the shop. But I really didn't think this tire would make it through this year. Check your cord carefully and keep the tire inflated. I usually keep 20 to 25 psi in mine. I like them to stand up. If you are not seeing broken cords, the tire will be fine. If you see broken cords, look for another tire. Running it low will dramatically shorten it's life. You are pretty safe on the tractor. Chances are the best that when it fails it will actually just be a tube failure but you will ruin the tire by driving on it a short distance.
