I HAD A TD35 THAT HAD SAT FOR ABOUT 7 YEARS AND I WAS ABLE TO GET IT UNSTUCK. THERE WASN'T ANY CYLINDER DAMAGE BUT THE VALVES THAT ARE OPEN WILL RUST ON THE SEAT AND GIVE YOU POOR COMPRESSION. IN OTHER WORDS YOU MAY HAVE TO PULL THE HEAD ANY WAY. THE BUSTED MANIFOLD MAY NOT HELP MATTERS EITHER. BUT WHAT I DID WAS TOO POOR DIESEL AND PENETRATING OIL THRU THE SPARK PLUG HOLES AND DOWN THE EXHAUST PIPE. IF YOU HAVE A HAND CRANK INSTALL IT AND HOOK A COMEALONG TO THE HAND AND APPLY PRESSURE BUT DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. THE IDEA IS WITH PRESSURE AND THE OIL DOING ITS JOB IT MAY FREEUP BUT THIS WILL TAKE 2-4 WEEKS SO BE PATIENT. KEEP CHECKING THE TIGHTNESS OF YOUR COME-ALONG AND ADD MORE OIL,DIESEL,WHATEVER TO KEEP IT LUBED UP. GOOD LUCK!

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
