The H rides again! I have had a terrible time getting my 1941 H to run. I read a post the other day about leaving the gas cap off to eliminate a vacuum being created in the fuel tank stopping the flow of fuel. Well lo and behold she was cranky about starting but when she started she stayed running! I drove her around for 20 minutes to get the oil nice and hot then drained it out. Oops! That 'oil' was a grayish mix of water and what may have been oil. I loaded in 6 quarts of non-detergent 30 weight and will give her a spin again tomorrow. Maybe I will have a tractor at our show. All are invited, my club, the Michigan Flywheelers Museum, is having our 18th annual show Sept. 6 through 9. It is in South Haven, Michigan. -BTD
