Allan,
There's been a lot of discussion on this topic
here over the last six months or so (maybe even
farther back). I had the same problem on both my
M and my A-C RC. Went from a D-17 Champion to a
d-21 Champion on the M and it seems to have gone
away. Some of the participants in the discussion
have switched to Autolite or AC plugs and their
problems have also disappeared. Several folks I
know have had similar experiences with the
Champion plugs. Maybe Champion is experiencing
some manufacturing problems. All I can say is
that if they don't solve their problems they will
lose a large number of customers very soon. Phil
