I do believe that detergent oil is best.
Where the problem comes in is if you use a
engine flush, like switching over to
a synthetic. and then that engine flush
breaks loose ALL the sludge and gives you
problems. A synthetic oil distributor tryed
to get me to switch over to Amsoil, with the
engine flush and I said, No, my IH-H has been
running for 57+ years now and I aint changing
over to synthetic.
