Don't know of a book on this particular tractor. The book "International Harvester Tractors 1955-1985" by Ken Updike gives a good history of IH tractors in the later years and has many pictures. There is not a picture of the W400, but plenty of pictures of other IH tractors. I believe the copy of the book I have came from Amazon, but am not sure. Another book I have is "International Harvester Farm Equipment Product History 1831-1985" by Ralph Baumheckel & Kent Borghoff. That book has a serial number listing in it that shows a total of 3357 W-400 tractors were produced. I don't find a picture of the W-400 in there either, but there are some similar tractors pictured.
