Can anyone tell me how you count the terms on the distributor cap. The distributor turns counterclockwise. I think I know where term one is. Does it count 1,2,3,4 in order or does it skip around. The firng order stamped on the engine is 1,3,4,2. The tractor runs but not as well as I think it should. If the distributor counts in order Cyl 1 is connected to term 1, cyl. 2 is connected to term 4, cyl. 3 is connected to term 3 and cyl. 4 is connected to term 2. This would have cyls. 2 and 3 reversed, however when I reverse them the tractor will not start. Is it possible that someone could have the timing so far out of normal that the tractor would run with these cyls. reversed. Help Thanks Marv
