MD swinging drawbar question

My MD has the forward mount for a swinging drawbar. I don't have the drawbar to go with it so I would like to remove the mount. It looks like there is a gasket between the mount and the bottom of the transmission. Is there a hole in the bottom of the transmission underneath the mount? If I unbolt the mount, will I have 13 gallons of transmission lube all over?
Also, once I get it removed, I would like to trade it and the belt pulley gearbox (no pulley) toward some rear wheel weight halves (4). I'm in Northern Indiana and that pulley gearbox is too heavy to ship very far (80 lbs.).....
