I wouldn't want to try hauling 25,000 lb wagons with an M unless the you are on nearly level ground. I wouldn't trust the brakes if there are any hills. If you have much hills, I think 3 or 4 tons would be a safe limit, although that may push you down the hill when you don't want to go.
