I put new Champions in it when I got it, because it was running on 3 occasionally. It cleared with the new plugs. It also idles too high (and did before the work and carb rebuild), and the throttle isn't very progressive as you increase it. Thought maybe because the fitting on the carb between it and the governor was packed with dirt, but now suspect the governor too, either for dirt or parts. It also seems to have developed a leak in the area you once described as where the hydraulic pump is. It appeared after refilling the transmission, think you posted that there is a transmission seal there. Is this an "average Joe" job, or should I seek professional help? I probably brought it on myself by cleaning it too well to work on it, washed away the dirt plugging the leak. LOL Any comments, Red? I appreciate all your help. Chris
