The 300's (169 ci)engine is almost identical to the Super H's (169 ci)and the H (162 ci) except for bore size. So you should have a good cheap supply of blocks. Just make sure you use the timing gears out of the 300 or the super h. I've heard they are supposedly case hardened more than the H's, so they can stand up to the stress of the hydrausilic pump. A good price for a complete block would be $250-not running condition, in MN.
