Im sure Bob M will post the diagram or you can look in the archives for it.Of the three tractors Ive changed to 12 volt generators all have the regulator on the generator.(2 41 Ms and an I-4)The switch for the mag should only have one wire going to it.It grounds out the mag,which makes its own juice.No need for battery power to it.
