H for auction tomorrow

There is a "H" to auction tomorrow in my community. I'm not interested in buying but am always curious when I see one so I stopped to look at it. It has all the bolts that hold the side channels (along the engine) to the front bolster welded solidly to those channels. I've never seen that before and am surprised that those bolts must have loosened without the welding. It's a 1948 model and in pretty bad shape other than all the tires are almost new.
