Hey Mike if you are going to pull dead weight it would be a great tractor in the 8500 - 12500 . A freind and I pulled one for several years around our area and it did vary well it was a 64 706 gas tri. with fast hitch and 15.5 x38 tires nothing special in the engine just a stock overhaul and good tuning and i am not kidding when i say that his wife told him to quite pullen it cause they were running out of room for the trophys i got 12 first with it in two years. But it was not vary good in the western pulling , not enough pony power to get any speed up .
