Now, that was quick! I've had some reasonably fast answers before but nothing like yours. I've got a question about this carb that maybe you can answer for me. In the bottom half casting, there is the main brass fuel nozzle which points upwards at an angle and is screwed into the bottom casting. If you can imagine a line directly in line with that nozzle but below it at the bottom of the bowl, there is a brass fitting that appears to be 'threaded' (can't tell for sure) into the casting from below (along the same plane as the fuel nozzle). This fitting almost appears to be a plug of some type. It is sort of cone shaped and has a slot-head screwdriver slot into the top of the fitting. Funny thing is though, it turns in and turns out, but it doesn't tighten or loosen, it just keeps turning. There is a fibre washer between it and the casting. It almost feels like it's held in by an o-ring or something but it will not loosen out. Any guesses as to what this is or should be? Am I missing some part or is something wrong? Appreciate your help.
