If the rings were stuck, why would the compression be what it is? Also, it seems to be pumping oil out of the intake manifold, where it meets the head, and around the spark plugs? Would oil make it between the gasket, and be drawn into the cylinder? I checked, and it looks like the head might have been taken off, at some time, a long time ago. Does anyone know, if the oil ring(s) were bad, would it still have the good compression? The tractor still starts VERY well, after maybe 1 1/2 revolutions????
