I am in the process of replacing the TA on my 300 U so like it or not, I have had have had to become very familiar with it's operations. If your TA clutch is just slipping, then I agree you can run your tractor indefinately that way. Mine had been run that way for a couple of years until I got brave enough to tear it down for a complete replacement. I assume you have made the adjustments already to the TA clutch? good luck.
