better check compression hot and cold your guage doesent measure voltage it measures amps as the rpm goes up the amps will go along with the rpms this is the way generators work so some smoke wont hurt anything does the oil disapear from the crankcase does it foul the plugs some smoke is no big deal this is not a 2000 pluss engine with all the new stuff
