Better check your fuel flow. Having to add choke, sounds like it is not getting enough fuel. You could have crud in the gas tank, or the fuel lines or the sediment bowl, or the little screen filter that is in the carb where the fuel line goes in could be partially pluged. Take the drain plug out of the carb (while the tractor is not running) and make sure you are getting a continuous flow of fuel.
