Peter the two primary areas of leaking on the liftall are the countershaft seal and the reservoir gasket. For now I would recommend you remove the counter driveshaft, from the transmission to the liftall, until you have time to remove it if you end out buying it. To remove the countershaft, remove the lower inspection plate. Pull out the two large cotter pins and slide the collars towards the center of the countershaft. The shaft will then come out.
