Russ, We own a 2N Ford, a Super C, a Super H, a Super M, a JD 70, and a DC 3. That little Ford will really surprise you, it is a working little SOB! It is as handy as can be, it Hogs well in our Upstate NY hill country, stands out at shows, because in this area all the shows are 25% Green, 23% Red,and 3% other colors. I won't even tell you how well it does at pulls because unless you watch it, you wouldn't believe me, but...in hill country ya sure don't wanna be headed down hill with anything more than a bush hog behind it, or you're going for a ride!! I grew up on tricycle row crops working on serious hills, the closest I have ever come to a serious incident (knock on wood) was trying to go down a not too steep grade with only 50 bales on the wagon behind the 2N. I don't buy the stability issue unless you don't use common sense, in which case you shouldn't be on a tractor anyway! The first tractor any of us will grab for normal size chores is and always has been the Cuper C! About $2500 for a nice Super C w/ fast hitch here in Upstate NY
