The PTO worked fine and did not slip once it was engaged. Questioning the guys a little more, it seems that it went in fine the first time, the second time, they had to physically hold the leverage/linkage to engage the PTO, and then the last time, it would not engage. I hope it is as simple as an o-ring or two. Don't know where they (o-rings) are but we are going to try to get a mechanic with some experience in these matters to come down and take a look at it. Thanks for the reply.
